The Junior B team scored a grand total of 11 goals in dropping back-to-back contests over the weekend, losing 16-5 in Victoria to the Shamrocks on Saturday and then 13-6 at Langley Events Centre the following afternoon to the Nanaimo Timbermen.
Langley saw their record slip to 1-5 on the BC Junior Tier 1 Lacrosse League season, with their one victory coming the only time they have reached double digits in goals, a game in which they round the back of the net 13 times.
In Victoria against the first-place Shamrocks (7-0) on Saturday, Noah Buchan led the offence with a pair of goals and three points. Jake Newby, Dane Hiebert and Kade Leifsson had the other Thunder goals. Todd Hensrud finished with 35 saves as the team was outshot 51-29.

Newby (2+1), Connyr Welch (1+2) and Vaughn Pinchin (1+2) each had three-point games the next afternoon against Nanaimo, while Brandon Lyons and Gunner Leifsson had the other goals. Hensrud (16 saves) and Tenzin Fernandez (nine saves) split the goaltending duties.
Greyson Thompson led the Timbermen with a five-goal, eight-point game while Jake Colley stopped 27 of the 33 Langley shots. Nanaimo improved to 4-2 with the victory.
