It was a dramatic finish at the Langley Events Centre on Tuesday night.

With time winding down and the score tied at 13, Langley’s Taylor Dudlets struck for his fourth of the game as the Thunder held off the Maple Ridge Burrards 14-13 in BC Junior B Tier 1 Lacrosse League action.

Both teams sit at 3-2 on the season and will renew acquaintances at Planet Ice Cam Neely on May 25.

The Thunder were up 10-9 after two periods but the Burrards battled back to knot the score at 13 with less than three minutes remaining before Dudlets gave the home side its final margin of victory.

Josh Bramely and Kyle Brunsch drew the assists on the winner and it capped off a big game for the duo as Bramely had a goal and four helpers while Brunsch tallied once and set up three other goals.

Matthew Abbott, Trevayne Hunter and Chase Moore chipped in a pair of goals apiece while Tristan Kirkham and Cooper Gettel had the other scores.
