The Saints improved to 8-3 while Langley saw their record fall to 5-6.

The teams were tied at four following 20 minutes, but Port Coquitlam seized control with a dominant second period which saw them outscore the Langley visitors 5-0.

Cooper Gettel led the Langley offence with five goals while Braiden Struss-Reid had four goals and one assist. Jordan Daniel chipped in with four assists while Aydan Johnson, Ryan Taylor and Kanen Hunter had a goal apiece.

Up next for the Thunder is a visit from Coquitlam Adanacs on Tuesday, June 11 at Langley Events Centre. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
